My stats for December stand at zero, zilch, nada. I’m drinking too much wine and eating too much holiday candy. These days, I like to sleep past 6am. I have not finished my Christmas shopping. I haven’t mailed my secret santa gift for Jill’s gift exchange or my cards for my own card swap. I don’t have one single gift wrapped. So yeah, pretty much I suck.
Hopefully all you faithful interwebs will still be around when I get my act together and start doing post-worthy activities.

Jill – first of all, you are awesome. Regardless of shopping victories or gift wrapping acumen, you are the best. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. So don’t worry about it.
I feel you are on the cusp of a MONSTER comeback, and will have everything buttoned up tight in the next 10 days +/-, even get out there and get a couple of workouts in.

I finally got my cards in the mail today (most of them) and I did manage to wrap a lot of my gifts the other night… but I feel like a total slacker this year too. I got sick this week (much like yourself) and haven’t run since last Thursday. I’m glad I already hit my 600 mile goal for the year because this month sucks!
If I am lucky, I will hit 300 miles for the year. Lammmme-o!

um i haven’t started my christmas shopping either. every year i’m like “i’ll pick up things throughout the year to get good bargains”… yeah that never happens. plus when i get someone a cool gift i am too excited to wait to give it to them. i did mail my cards (they kind of sucked though) but i do need to get on the SS gift…
Aren’t you working like a bazillion hours a week? Cut yourself some slack. All of the holiday “stuff” will get done. Doesn’t it always? I haven’t done much in the way of Christmas shopping yet either, and I gave up on Christmas cards a long time ago. 🙂
Let yourself off the hook and enjoy, because that’s what it’s supposed to be about. You’ll get all back on track before you know it.
That movie deserves the four nominations that you gave it! Whenever I’m thinking about snow, I think about the sled that he sprayed his miracle spray on and wish that that (and hoverboards) existed.

I love National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Saw in the tv guide it’s on again around Christmas. One of my other Christmas favorites is Love Actually.
